Objectives

  • Provides an educational environment for individuals with and without disabilities.
  • Promotes diverse, racially representative engagement opportunities.
  • Improves language acquisition, communication skills, food safety knowledge, and self-esteem.
  • Helps combat cultural shock, language problems, and feelings of isolation.
  • Promotes healthy eating and respect for cultural diversity.
  • Provides an environment for leadership skills, social bonds, and networks.
  • Helps young immigrants integrate and excel in Canadian society.
  • Allows newcomers to have autonomy and responsibility, engage with their former lives, and share knowledge.
